5. We believe mankind, created in the image of God, voluntarily disobeyed and rebelled against God. As a result, mankind fell from God and the only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ the Son of God.

6. We believe salvation is wholly a result of God’s grace. No action on the part of any individual can contribute to the receiving of God’s love and favor.

7. We believe in the new birth of all who turn and trust in Christ. By the response of repentance of sin and the acceptance of Christ the individual is forgiven and declared justified. His or her life should be a continuous growth in knowledge and Christ-likeness.

8. We believe in the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ in power and glory to receive His church unto Himself.
